#Mutant<br />A malformed piglet with a squashed "human" face and giant eyes was filmed wriggling in a man's arms several hours after its birth in Venezuela<br />This unsettling video shows a Venezuelan man hold up a newborn mutant piglet with an uncannily human-like face.<br /><br />The bizarre birth, which took place in the area of Quebrada Arriba in the municipality of Torres, is said to have shocked residents and other farmers in the region.<br /><br />Locals said the mutant piglet was born with "human eyes" and hair.<br /><br />In the footage, an unidentified man is seen holding the deformed and snoutless pig in a blanket before lifting it up to the camera.<br /><br />A woman in the background says: “It is over three hours old," and then adds, “It also has hair!”<br />The mutant pig was born in a litter of normal pigs and, unlike other mutant births, was not stillborn despite its obvious deformities, local media reports.<br /><br /><br />It is still unclear what caused the piglet to be so badly deformed but in other South American countries it has been linked with the excessive use of pesticides.<br /><br />The bizarre video has gone viral in Venezuela where it caused a considerable stir.<br />After watching the clip, a social media user said: “It is clearly a mutation. It would be terrible if the authorities do not look into what happened to the animal’s genetics.”<br />Someone else said: “Food is so bad in Venezuela that even the animals do not have enough vitamins and minerals to give birth to healthy offspring!”<br /><br />A third viewer wrote: “Horrific, it is so ugly!”<br /><br />The piglet is still alive but it is not clear what will happen to it and whether its facial deformities will arise to breathing problems.<br />
