A community library is bucking the national trend of decline and has had an increase in people borrowing and reading books thanks to the enthusiastic work of their volunteers. <br /><br /><br />Allan Jones, aged 74, from Sprotbrough, director of the Sprotbrough Community Library, said: “Back in 2012 when we took over the library and saved it from being closed it was just a library. <br />“Now it’s a real asset to the community with classes and reading groups - we’re also a community hub.” <br />
