Amtrak Bookings Plummet <br />Due to Coronavirus Concerns Year-over-year, Amtrak Senior Vice President Stephen Gardner said that future bookings <br />are down 50 percent. In a memo to employees, Gardner added that <br />cancellations have jumped by 300 percent. Amtrak's SVP also said that he expects <br />reductions to continue for "some time." Last November, the railroad corporation reported a <br />record number of passengers. It also set financial performance records <br />for the year ending September 30.
