This supermarket in east London looks like a battle zone as shoppers stock up on goods amid panic buying due to the coronavirus outbreak.<br /><br />Cardboard boxes and goods can be seen on the floor in the aisle of the Asda supermarket as shoppers with full trolleys queue up shortly before midnight on Thursday.<br /><br />"Panic buying due to the coronavirus at an Asda [supermarket] in east London at 11;30pm at night," wrote the filmer, a resident of east London. "Many items was in short supply but the most staggering thing was the unprecedented queues at night [and[ of trolleys packed full of goods.<br /><br />Further footage captured on Thursday at a branch of Tesco supermarket near Manor Park shows shelves left empty.
