'I'm in a higher risk group': Joy Behar steps away from 'The View' amid coronavirus scare Not even Hollywood is safe from the coronavirus pandemic that has gripped much of the world. <br /><br />Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson announced they were tested positive for the virus Wednesday and received an outpouring of support from fellow stars.<br /><br />Many other celebs shared their thoughts on the pandemic and how they've been coping with the virus.<br /><br />"The View" co-host Joy Behar announced on the show Friday that she will be stepping away from the ABC talk show temporarily as a safety precaution, citing her age, after her daughter insisted.<br /><br />"I’m in a higher risk group because of my age, but I’m perfectly healthy," Behar, 77, said during a pre-taped episode that will air Friday. "I don’t look my age, but I’m actually up there. The number makes me dizzy." <br /><br />Octavia Spencer, while on the phone to discuss her forthcoming Netflix series "Self Made: Inspired By the Live of Madam C.J. Walker," said she's going on a self-imposed isolation.<br /><br />"Allow this process to happen. Pray for the world because this is a pandemic. People are losing loved ones every day. People are losing their livelihood. I’m going to be prayer-ful. I’m going to spend the time to read and reflect. And watch a lot of TV and Netflix,” Spencer said.
