Former deputy health minister Dr Lee Boon Chye said it's time for the government to focus on mitigation, instead of tracking close contacts of confirmed Covid-19 patients.<br /><br />This is because Lee said it would be difficult to track down and isolate potential cases due to the enormous number of cases and contacts.<br /><br />He said the focus should now be placed on mitigation, by reducing the number of cases and optimising healthcare resources.<br /><br />Lee proposed for the closure of all schools, colleges, universities and kindergartens for one month.
