Malaysia has recorded a three-digit increase in Covid-19 cases for the second day with 125 new infections, bringing the total to 553 cases, according to Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.<br /><br />He said of these, 95 of the new cases could be traced to a tabligh gathering at Sri Petaling mosque which took place from Feb 27 to March 1. <br /><br />As such, the total number of patients who participated in the gathering is 338.<br /><br />Adham (above) said the number of patients in the intensive care unit and requiring the aid of a ventilator to breath have also increased from nine to 12.
