New Trump Coronavirus Guidelines <br />Recommend Avoiding Crowds <br />of More Than 10 People President Donald Trump and <br />members of the coronavirus task force <br />spoke at length with the press on Monday afternoon. Trump indicated that the threat <br />of the virus for the American people <br />was likely to last until at least "July, <br />August, something like that." In addition to avoiding <br />crowds of greater than 10 people, the new Trump administrations <br />guidelines recommend home-schooling, <br />as well as the avoidance of travel and restaurants. Trump also responded to rumors <br />of a national lockdown similar to what <br />has occurred in other countries such as China and Italy. He said his administration <br />"may look at certain areas, certain hotspots <br />as they call them​," but "at this moment, no we're not." The Dow Jones continued its <br />plunge as the press conference went on, <br />closing at a more than 12 percent decline. Trump was asked if the American <br />economy was headed into a recession.
