Villagers captured a crocodile that entered Melathirukazhipaalai, a small village near the Cuddalore district of Tamilnadu. <br /><br />The construction of an artificial pond for rearing fish attracted a wild crocodile, who began to attack goats and hens that came near the pond. <br /><br />According to local reports, after raising concerns with the forest department and seeing no action taken on their complaint, villagers took matters into their own hands.
