Cardi B to Donate Royalties<br />From ‘Coronavirus’ Remix When Cardi B first posted a video to Instagram<br />talking about the coronavirus pandemic, she had<br />no idea it would be remixed into a viral song. The vocals from her rant were turned into a<br />catchy song by DJ iMarkkeyz, which instantly went<br />viral on TikTok and rose through the iTunes Charts. Now, Cardi B and DJ iMarkkeyz have both<br />confirmed that all the proceeds from the song<br />will go towards coronavirus relief efforts. When asked by a fan to donate the song's royalties,<br />DJ iMarkkeyz said it was “[his] goal” to do so, which<br />prompted Cardi B to respond to the tweet as well. Although she reminded fans that she and DJ iMarkkeyz<br />wouldn’t receive royalties from the song right away, Cardi B said they would donate when they<br />received them, as the need for donations<br />would exist “even months from now.” Cardi B, via Twitter
