Walmart Will Pay Close to <br />$550 Million in Employee Bonuses Referred to as a "mini-stimulus" by <br />one of Walmart's executive vice presidents, <br />the cash bonuses will be paid out to hourly employees. Full-time employees will receive $300, <br />with part-time employees receiving $150. Employees who have been with the company <br />since March 1 will receive the bonus, <br />which will be paid out on April 2. Walmart will also hire 150,000 new <br />employees through the end of May. The company employs <br />1.3 million people in the U.S. According to one executive, <br />Walmart is currently experiencing the <br />most supply chain pressure with food.
