Yelp to Assist Local Businesses <br />During the Coronavirus Outbreak A $25 million relief fund for <br />local establishments has been <br />announced by the review forum. The fund will go towards giving <br />the businesses free services and products. Certain fees related to <br />advertising will be postponed. Yelp has also announced it will ban reviews that say <br />people contracted COVID-19 at restaurants. New banner alerts will let businesses tell customers <br />when their hours change or if they close. Upcoming functions extend to letting Yelp users<br />know when takeout or delivery is available. Virtual services from eateries, such as <br />online consultations, will soon be available as well. According to Yelp, these features <br />are expected to premiere shortly.
