Footage shows hundreds of taxis waiting in long queues for customers as the COVID-19 decimates tourism in Bangkok, Thailand.<br /><br />The cabbies are normally busy throughout the night on the packed Sukhumvit Road area of the capital but since the coronavirus outbreak, business has plunged.<br /><br />Footage taken by motorist Khun Moddum while he was driving back home last Friday night (March 20) shows then long line of hello and green taxis without any passengers.<br /><br />He said: "I couldn't count how many of the taxis were waiting, but there were a lot. Business has never been this bad for them.''<br /><br />The number of tourists arriving in Thailand plunged by around 75 per cent in the middle of this month. However, a de facto travel ban on entries into the country will now bring the figure even lower.
