Villagers in Wawiyai attempted to lure a stranded blue whale back towards deeper waters on March 19.<br /><br />The whale, around 12-metres-long, was found struggling in the Gulf of Byawar by local residents who then attempted to lure the whale back to its natural waters.<br /><br />The government are expected to help the villagers' efforts in rescuing the stranded whale.
