The coronavirus death toll in Spain has risen to 2,182, the health ministry says.<br />Fernando Simón, the director of the Health Ministry's Coordination Centre for Health Alerts, also says "a total of 33,089 cases have been reported", representing "a total increase of 14%" in 24 hours.
