SZECHAUN POTATO BITES RECIPE: <br />This Szechaun / Sichuan - potato recipe is easy to make at home and makes a great appetizer for parties. <br />Recipe below <br />INGREDIENTS: <br />* 1/2 lb. fingerling potatoes - boiled, halved & pan fried in oil. <br />* 4 Tablespoons Ketchup <br />* 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce <br />* 2 Tablespoons sweet & sour sauce <br />* 5 cloves garlic, chopped <br />* 1” piece ginger, chopped <br />* 1 teaspoon chili flakes or powder (optional) <br />* 2 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds - for garnish <br />* Scallions (optional) <br />DIRECTIONS: <br />1. In a heated nonstick pan, add ketchup, soy sauce, sweet & sour sauce and Red chili flakes or powder (optional) then fry. Add garlic and ginger and mix well. Add Red chili flakes or powder (optional). <br />2. In a bowl, combine potatoes and sauce and toss. <br />3. Top with sesame seeds and put toothpick in each piece. Serve with scallions on side.
