Spotify Announces COVID-19 <br />Music Relief Project The project will assist <br />artists who are seeking financial relief. Spotify will partner with several <br />music charities, including MusiCares, <br />PRS Foundation and Help Musicians. The streaming company will match donations <br />to those charities up to $10 million. Spotify made the announcement <br />via Instagram <br />on Tuesday. Spotify, <br />via Instagram Spotify also plans to debut an optional feature <br />enabling artists to raise funds directly from fans. The company will not take any cuts <br />from the contributions made through <br />the Spotify artist pages. Just a few days ago, Bandcamp helped artists raise <br />$4.3 million by waiving its fees for music sales.
