‘I Love Rock 'N' Roll’ songwriter Alan Merrill dies of Coronavirus

Musician Alan Merrill, co-writer and singer of the original version of I Love Rock 'n' Roll, died on Sunday of complications from the novel coronavirus, at the age of 69.<br />
