Most Americans are touching their loved ones just as much as they did before the coronavirus outbreak.<br />In a survey conducted by Business Insider, 40% of respondents said they decreased the amount they touch their family.<br />42% said they have kept their levels of physical touch the same.<br />10% said they have ramped up their levels of physical touch.<br />Health experts recommend staying 6 feet away from others, particularly older people, who are at higher risk of infection.<br />While human touch can help quell feelings of anxiety, experts recommend distancing even within families when possible.
