An ostrich ran five-kilometres along a busy road before being caught in southwestern China.<br /><br />In the footage, provided by the local police force, an ostrich ran along a road among vehicles in Kunming city in Yunnan Province at around 12:00 p.m. on March 30.<br /><br />According to reports, the 50-kilogram male ostrich ran around five kilometres before being caught by a security guard at a furniture shop.<br /><br />The ostrich might have escaped from a nearby farm or a transport vehicle driving past. The case is being investigated.
