Some Americans are saving a ton of money because the coronavirus pandemic is forcing them to stay home and observe social distancing.<br />But according to Business Insider, they're not socking that 'extra' money into the market or under the mattress.<br />Rather, they're supporting their friends by buying from them, or hiring them to do things they need.<br />For example, they're buying the artwork of friends who are artists.<br />Or, they're hiring them to build them a website, or revamp a resume.<br />That keeps money in the local economy, and helps build strength in the community.
