4.3사건 희생자 추념식 3일 4.3평화공원서 진행... 코로나 우려에 최소 규모 진행<br /><br />A memorial ceremony for the victims of the April 3rd Jeju Incident will take place in the coming hours at the April 3rd Peace Park...on the country's southern island of Jeju.<br />However, in light of the coronavirus outbreak, the ceremony will be smaller in scale than usual, with roughly 1-hundred-50 people to attend, including families of the victims and related civic groups.<br />The elderly and people with underlying illnesses are not taking part but those in attendance will sit two meters apart from one another to abide by social distancing guidelines.<br />It's estimated some 30,000 people on the island were killed between April 1948 and May 1949.<br />
