Women who breastfeed their children may be lowering their risk for ovarian cancer later in life by as much as 24%.<br />According to a new study breastfeeding for 12 or more months was associated with a 34% reduction in risk for disease.<br />While breastfeeding for an average of 1 to 3 months reduced risk for the disease by 18%.<br />Researchers note the relationship between breastfeeding and the disease remains unclear.<br />The American Cancer Society notes that more than 200,000 women in the U.S.
