The U.S. government is now recommending Americans wear cloth face coverings.<br />Reuters is reporting that the recommendation is still on a voluntary basis, though.<br />The suggestion has been offered as a way to stem the spread of the coronavirus.<br />However, quickly after the recommendation, Trump added that he himself would not use one.<br />Trump then stressed that the new recommendation should not be seen as replacing social distancing.<br />Distancing measures are considered key to slowing the outbreak.<br />Coronavirus has now claimed more lives in New York state than the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
