This is the uplifting moment a patient is cheered by medics after recovering from coronavirus<br /><br />The patient was admitted with severe symptoms last month to the Calamba Doctor's Hospital in Laguna, Philippines.<br /><br />But after round-the clock care, he was finally able to leave hospital and return home with his wife on April 1st. <br /><br />Footage shows the man being pushed in a wheelchair into a lift as doctors and nurses in blue protective suits clap and wave him goodbye.<br /><br />Ezer Gellido, a nurse in hospital's Covid-19 response unit, said: ''This was when we sent our recovered Covid-19 patient home.<br /><br />''Everyone is working extra hard to give patients the best care we can. Glory to god. We will get through this.''
