PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated netizens for exposing Putrajaya’s approvals for brewers Heineken Malaysia Bhd and Carlsberg to continue its operations during the movement control order (MCO) period.<br /><br />Yesterday Putrajaya has revoked the approvals for brewers Heineken Malaysia Bhd and Carlsberg to continue its operations during the movement control order (MCO) period.<br /><br />The government had received backlash over the approval including from Umno, PAS and Bersatu leaders who had criticised them for making such a decision when alcohol was not an essential product.
