Following the removal of over 500 migrants from the Cape Town Methodist Church a sanitation team has started emptying and cleaning the venue. <br /><br />Video filmed on Tuesday (April 7) shows members of the sanitation team in hazmat suits outside the church. <br /><br />The migrants were removed as part of government efforts to enforce a 21-day lockdown against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. <br /><br />The church has been occupied for the last five months by migrants whose demands included being repatriated to a different country.
