Astonishing footage shows how a road rage dispute escalated - causing two-mile long tailbacks in the Philippines.<br /><br />The driver sparked chaos after allegedly arguing with a motorcyclist then knocking him over in the Quezon City area of Manila, the Philippines on February 8.<br /><br />Several bystanders gave chase and surrounded the car before the police arrived. The driver was then dragged out into the road.<br /><br />Video taken from a footbridge shows the long queues on the Commonwealth Avenue as drivers were held up in rush hour traffic while the brawl happened.<br /><br />Police said the driver was arrested on suspicion of disobedience to authority, direct assault, and violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act.<br /><br />The Quezon City Police Station said in a statement the driver was detained and later released on bail.<br /><br />They said: ''There were many witnesses who we are collecting statements from and checking CCTV of the alleged traffic infringement that caused the raucous.<br /><br />''Traffic on Commonwealth Avenue was delayed for a while during the incident but it resumed once the scene had been cleared.''
