There's a lot of confusion around the wearing of disposable gloves outdoors to combat the novel coronavirus COVID-19.<br />According to HuffPost, the World Health Organization discourages the wearing of gloves when on errands such as shopping.<br />That's because it gives the wearer a false sense of security.<br />Also, washing and reusing disposable gloves is difficult. The gloves aren't meant for multiple uses, and can easily develop small tears.<br />Surprisingly, it's much easier and safer to decontaminate your hands by washing them thoroughly!
