The dish consists of a deep fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun (pav) sliced almost in half through the middle. It is generally accompanied with one or more chutneys and a green chilli pepper. Although it originated as cheap street food in Mumbai, it is now served in food stalls and restaurants across India. It is also called Bombay burger.<br />Ingredients : to make 12 Vada<br /><br />For Making Batter :<br />2-3 cup gram flour or besan<br />¼ teaspoon salt<br />¼ teaspoon Turmeric Powder<br />¼ teaspoon red chlil powder<br />1 Tablespoon lemon juice<br />water as required to prepare smooth lump free batter<br /><br />For Making Potatoe Masala :<br />1 tablespoon oil<br />Mustard - ¼ teaspoon<br />1 teaspoon coriander seeds<br />3 Green chilies chopped (use as needed)<br />1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste<br />1 sprig curry leaves<br />1 teaspoon red chili powder<br />Turmeric powder - ¼ teaspoon<br />Potatoes - 6 (Boiled)<br />Handful coriander leaves<br />½ teaspoon salt (As per need)<br /><br />Oil for deep frying<br />Serve Hot<br />Thank you so much
