Six states in the U.S. Northeast have taken the first tentative steps toward reopening their economies.<br />According to Reuters, the states have formed a panel to develop a plan for the gradual lifting of restrictions.<br />The panel will include economic and health officials from each state as well as the chief of staff of all six governors.<br />The decision to form the panel came after President Trump insisted that the decision to restart the economy was his to make.<br />New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island will make up the panel.<br />Discussion of reopening the economy comes as signs that the novel coronavirus outbreak is stabilizing.
