Homemade Spicy Chicken Shami Kebabs Recipe | Food Celebrations<br />Ingredients<br />Soaked Split Bengal gram / Chana Daal 1 cup<br />Boneless Chicken 2 cups<br />Water 3 – 4 cups<br />Chopped onion 1<br />Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp<br />1 small green chilli<br />Red chillies whole 2<br />Chilli / Paprika powder 1 tsp<br />Coriander powder 1 tsp<br />Salt to taste<br />Cumin 1 tsp<br />Garam masala/ All spice 1 tsp<br />Chicken stock cubes 2 (Optional)<br />Kasoori methi 1/2 tsp<br />Haldi / Turmeric 1/2 tsp<br />Oil 2 Tbsp<br />Coriander and mint leaves<br />1 egg if needed<br />Method:<br />Add all the spices to the lentils and chicken. Add water and cook till the mixture dries up and is fully cooked. If needed more water can be added if the lentils are still undercooked. Grind the mixture adding fresh coriander and mint leaves. Form round patties. At this stage the kebabs can be frozen and fried in a little oil when rquired. An egg can be added to the mixture if the patties break while frying.<br />
