Curfew violators in the Philippines were gathered at an empty basketball court by authorities to make them watch a movie as punishment.<br /><br />Twenty-five offenders were caught out and about during the curfew hours at Las Pinas City on Monday night (April 13).<br /><br />In the video, the violators were seen seated in plastic chairs while a film about the coronavirus was projected in front.<br /><br />The Las Pinas City police station said that they were given stern warning and taken back to their respective villages afterwards.<br /><br />Officials in the Philippines are enforcing strict community lockdowns and curfews to stop the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.
