Footage shows crowds flocking to a market place in the Philippines despite the coronavirus physical distancing guidelines in place to prevent the spread of the virus..<br /><br />Onlooker Roberto Silverio Jr said he was also driving to get supplies for his family from the food market in Manila when he noticed the long queues on April 14.<br /><br />He said: "I don't think we can prevent COVID-19 from spreading if the situation is always like this."<br /><br />Metro Manila is one of the most congested cities in Southeast Asia with a population or more than 12.8 million people. <br /><br />Travel bans and curfew are being enforced in major regions of the Philippines to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The country has so far recorded 5,660 COVID-19 cases and 362 deaths as of April 16.
