Facebook to Tell Users When They <br />Encounter COVID-19 Misinformation The company will alert users when <br />they like, comment or react to posts <br />containing false information, hoaxes <br />or unproven cures. Facebook Vice President Guy Rosen, via blog post Facebook users who have interacted with misinformation <br />will see a message in their feed directing them to the <br />World Health Organization’s “Myth busters” page. The new feature is expected to <br />roll out in the coming weeks. The website previously notified users <br />only when they shared a post that <br />fact-checkers had labeled false.
