Emirates passengers are being tested for Covid-19 before boarding their flight in Dubai, the major airline has announced<br />Passengers are now being given blood tests before boarding their flight to determine whether they have coronavirus.<br /><br />Major airline Emirates is the first to introduce quick Covid-19 tests at the airport, with results taking just 10 minutes.<br />It has launched the tests at its Dubai home base for now, after resuming limited passenger flights earlier this month.<br /><br />The flights at its United Arab Emirates base are currently open to foreign passengers who wish to leave the country, but no incoming passengers are allowed.<br />Emirates confirmed in a statement: “Passengers on today's flight to Tunisia were all tested for Covid-19 (respiratory disease) before departing from Dubai.<br /><br />“Emirates is the first airline to conduct on-site rapid Covid-19 tests for passengers.”<br />
