미 재무부 “진단키트•산소호흡기 등 대북 코로나 지원 가능”<br /><br />The United States is allowing NGOs to provide humanitarian aid to North Korea.<br />The Office of Foreign Assets Control at the Treasury Department released a new fact sheet Thursday on the provision of humanitarian assistance and trade to combat COVID-19.<br />Its authorization allows NGOs to provide the regime with items such as testing kits, respiratory devices, personal protective equipment and medicine needed to fight the virus.<br />The office also authorized limited transactions to North Korea which include the payment of reasonable fees, taxes, utility bills and import duties, and the purchase of permits and licenses.<br />
