Hailstorms and strong winds have damaged fruit trees in Jammu and Kashmir, northern India, on April 17.<br /><br />Strong winds have blown off the newly bloomed flowers from the trees meaning the fruit is unlikely to grow.<br /><br />Residents have pleaded with the District Administration Doda and District Administration Ramban that the poor people should be given compensation for taking stock of the loss.
