According to Reuters Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe made a forceful plea to the nation on Friday to help stop the spread of coronavirus. <br />In a speech he said, “Please avoid going out...Everything depends on the action of each individual.”<br />Japan also expanded their state of emergency this week.<br />Abe fears that medical services could fail in rural areas, which is where many elderly people live. <br />The state of emergency is also aimed at limiting travel, with Japan’s Golden Week holidays coming soon.<br />Japan’s has over 9,000 coronavirus cases, with 190 deaths. 2,796 cases are in <br />Tokyo, the nation's hardest-hit.
