This video has gone viral online showing how one US Redditor has managed to recreate the sunset from the comfort of their own home using the optical phenomenon "camera obscura".<br /><br />Footage captured on April 15 shows how over the course of a timelapse, a sunrise is projected onto the bedroom walls.<br /><br />They explained to Newsflare: "This is how I wasted my time during COVID-19 lockdown. <br /><br />"Anyone can do it and it is very fun to do with kids and family members. <br /><br />"It's a great science experiment and also an awesome art setup. <br /><br />"This has gone viral and is now being done by lots of people stuck at home with WAY to much time on their hands. <br /><br />"The coolest part is if it's in your bedroom... when you wake up in the morning...it's there. <br /><br />"You walk in to get something from your room... it's there. <br /><br />"You can also paint the outline of any of the builds or trees and make this a permanent thing."
