Faced with a family-free weekend and an empty calendar, Jason van Genderen in Forresters Beach, Australia, asked his 87-year-old mom out on a dinner date for two, filmed on October 6, 2019. <br /><br />His mother, Hendrika, suffers from both Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's disease.<br /><br />The night out was a success as they both enjoyed their evening together. <br /><br />"Planning the big night out was going to take a lot of patience and wardrobe assistance!" van Genderen said.
