While addressing a poll rally in Assam’s Dibrugarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was able to provide 5 lakh pucca houses in Assam by the blessing of people in the state. Earlier, PM Modi has begun his election campaign in the northeastern states, starting from Arunachal Pradesh. <br />Only 40% of households in Assam got power connections till 2014 but in 5 years of BJP rule, the percentage has touched 85%, he added.
