President Ramnath Kovind bestowed Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat with the Param Vishisht Sewa Medal (PVSM) for his contributions to improve the nation’s military services.<br />The honorary military award has been conferred on the Army chief for his relentless role in tackling counter-terror operations against Pakistan including surgical strikes. He has also played a steady role in maintaining tranquillity with China.
