The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Saturday, April 18, that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has exceeded the 6,000 mark.<br /><br />The DOH said that it recorded 209 new cases of the dreaded disease, bringing the total to 6,087. The number of patients who have recovered is now at 516. Meanwhile, ten more patients had died, raising the death toll to 397.
