강경화 등 12개국 외교장관 "글로벌 경제•백신개발 공조"<br /><br />Foreign ministers across the globe have pledged international cooperation to protect the global economy and to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus.<br />According to South Korea's foreign ministry on Saturday, the country's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha held phone talks with the eleven counterparts of the Ministerial Coordination Group on COVID-19 including France, Canada and Italy.<br />The group discussed mitigating global economic chaos and even allowing business travel to cushion social and economic damage from the pandemic.<br />Sharing her country's efforts in containing the virus, South Korean foreign minister Kang noted that South Korea is carefully reviewing measures for a possible transition into a new phase of the quarantine system that is more connected to everyday life.<br />
