The number of new Covid-19 infections in the country dropped to 54 cases today, a new low since the movement control order period began.<br /><br />Today is also the second straight day that new infection cases have remained in the double digits.<br /><br />Total cases are now at 5,305.<br /><br />Meanwhile, 135 patients were discharged today, bringing the number of total recoveries to date at 3,102 or 58.5 percent of the total number of cases.<br /><br />There were two new deaths reported today.
