Donald Trump said China 'must have the highest COVID-19 death toll' at a COVID-19 daily briefing.<br />The President refers to news China had revised their Wuhan virus epicentre death toll to 50 per cent more than previously reported. <br /><br />China revised Wuhan’s coronavirus death toll up by 1,290 to 3,869 after the bungling of hospital reporting, an official has admitted.<br /><br />Mr Trump halted funding and launched an investigation into the World Health Organization (WHO) because of their failure to react quickly enough to China's initial outbreak.<br /> <br />He suspects China 'covered up' the scale of the virus spread in the crucial early weeks when coronavirus might have been contained.<br /> The President is critical of WHO for accepting China's early virus reports without question and projecting them into the global arena, some crucial 'facts' turned out to be misinformation.<br /><br />The President isn't 'happy with China' and believes despite officials admitting a stats botch, they are still omitting a larger scale of the outbreak and death toll within official global reports.
