A Canadian YouTuber shows the damage to tress in Montreal caused by an invasive species of insect.<br /><br />The emerald ash borer, which is native to north-eastern Asia, has infested many areas of North America, killing tens of millions of ash trees.<br /><br />"Amazing pattern left beneath the bark by this invasive species," said the filmer Viva Frei.<br /><br />"Something like 40,000 trees in Montreal we’re going to have to be felled as a result of the invasive species," he added.
