Malaysia today recorded 84 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 5,389 infections, according to Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.<br /><br />Noor Hisham also reported one new patient succumbed to the virus, bringing the death toll to 89, which translated to a mortality rate of 1.65 percent.<br /><br />He also announced that 95 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 3,197 people or 59.3 percent of total cases.<br /><br />
