The Home Ministry has gazetted 11 temporary prisons to hold movement control order (MCO) offenders and they will start operation on April 23, said Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.<br /><br />The defence minister confirmed this during a press conference from Putrajaya that was broadcast live on Facebook this afternoon.<br /><br />“As I have announced recently, the government will set up special prisons for those who violate MCO.<br /><br />“Today, the government through the Home Ministry has gazetted 11 temporary prisons for detainees who violated MCO.<br /><br />https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/521465
